Young @ Heart
Some of the most active people in our church are our retired members. We have affectionately named them our “Young at Heart.” Our Young at Heart Group meets every second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. Good food is always a part of this group’s time together as well as fun activities and the occasional outing!
Come make a joyful noise with us to the Lord! We welcome those who would like to help us sing praise to the Lord. In addition to leading our church in worship each week, our Choir prepares special Cantatas for Easter and Christmas. We practice each Wednesday night after Bible study.
WOM (Women on Mission)
Our women have a Kingdom heart for Missions! WOM is a great group of women who meet monthly to plan and promote Mission work within our church and community. They are always looking for ways to encourage everyone to share Jesus! Women on Mission meet at church the first Monday night of each month at 7pm. They would love for you to join them!
BSF (Bible Study Fellowship)
Bible Study Fellowship is a verse by verse, chapter by chapter organized Bible study that spans the world. Each week more than 2,000 classes meet across more than 40 countries, all learning and growing through the Bible. EBC is blessed to be a host church for this wonderful Bible study on Monday mornings at 9:00am. BSF has a study that begins in the Fall of the year and a study that begins in the beginning of the year. Call our office for more information. We would love to connect you to our BSF leaders!
Join us on the first Sunday morning of each month at 8:00 am for our Baptist Men’s Breakfast! During these meals we have a devotion or hear from a guest speaker as well as highlight upcoming opportunities to help those in our community. Baptist Men also hold a Men’s Bible Study a couple of times a year. These studies typically range from six to eight weeks and usually last about an hour and a half each. At EBC we believe spiritually strong men are essential to God’s plan for homes, churches and communities. Our Baptist Men Ministry is one of the ways EBC helps men grow in their Christian faith and lives.
At EBC we place great importance on ministering to those of our congregation who can no longer join us for worship and fellowship. Our Audio Visual Team does a great job of capturing our worship services on DVD. Our faithful Sick and Shut-in Committee then delivers these DVDs to those in our church family who are homebound or otherwise unable to attend worship services. Each year our Adult Sunday School classes also adopt a shut-in and seek to minister to them during that year. What a blessing to be a part of such a loving church!
Not once a week in a “service,” but everyday with our lives.
Helping each other learn to have a strong relationship with God.
Telling the world that Jesus saves and changes lives!
